Oh My God! I never believed that someone had my same idea ... that is to make a mermaid (but in my case with the appearance of an actress) with almost the same pose in the queue! I had drawn for a test ..
Anyway congratulations and I am glad that you are fan of Mucha!

This is so beautiful, and so well drawn. I love the curves of her body and the darker outlines, and the way her hair dissapears into the water. Her breasts are really exquisite, and she is just generally awesome. Very well done.

stunning work. Love the tones you have used and the detail on her face.

this is really pretty, but only thing that disturbs me are the nipple-piercings.. but otherwise beautifully done

Very very nice piece - The "depth" of the piece is amazing. ('scuse the pun!") You do a nice mixture of soft & heavy lines - especially around the face... Excellent! Mucha is a huge influence for me too & I'm trying to ramp up my style to reflect his influence on my newer pieces. Good stuff!

I've featured this in a collection of Mucha-inspired art in my journal here [link]
If you would rather I remove it, please let me know.
Thank you.

I adore the penciled version of this piece. It reminds me somewhat of a earthy, fantasy ride via the 1970's psychedelia lovefest . You create a wonderful depth with your linework and sparse shading. Plus the textured paper is hard to beat.
